Matthew Formston a sufferer of retinal dystrophy himself will be riding tandem from the Gold Coast to Manly (in Sydney) a distance of over 900kms. With him will also be Lindy Hou who is a multiple gold medal Para Olympian champion in tandem riding.
The ride begins on the 18th September arriving in Sydney on the 24th culminating with the Garden Party Reception for World Retina Day. On the way they will be other riders that will be joining him, also Matthew will be stopping at schools to give a brief talk about his journey and there will be other riders joining him.
